Affiliate disclosure

This site is free to read and is funded by affiliate commissions.

When a reader clicks a button marked as a partner link and signs up with that provider, the provider pays the site a commission. The reader pays the same price either way. At launch no partner links are active; every button goes directly to the provider. As affiliate relationships are approved they are listed on each provider's page under "Affiliate relationship".

Commissions do not affect prices, statuses, the "watch out" notes, or the order of any table. The only thing a commission decides is which of two equally-priced buttons appears first. Providers without a relationship are treated identically in the data.

This disclosure follows the US Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and affiliate marketing. Prices and terms are the providers' own and can change at any time; the date on each page says when they were last read.
